Alex Klenofsky
Founder & CEO
Alex brings over a decade of frontline experience to the private security industry. He served six years in the United States Coast Guard, specializing in maritime law enforcement, counter narcotics, and search and rescue operations. After his military service, he continued his commitment to public safety as a Deputy Sheriff with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, where he served for five years and completed advanced training in DUI investigations, child exploitation crimes, interviews and interrogations, courtroom testimony, and more.
In the private sector, Alex has provided executive protection for high profile clients including professional athletes and government officials, giving him a unique understanding of the discretion, discipline, and professionalism required at the highest level of security.
Driven by a deep sense of purpose and community, Alex founded Odin Defense Group to offer dependable, high level protection for those who need it most. Ryan Cooper
Executive Director of Threat and Risk Mitigation
With nearly 12 years of dedicated service at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Ryan Cooper brings a wealth of law enforcement experience, investigative skill, and leadership to Odin Defense Group. From 2011 to 2023, he served in various roles where he developed a strong foundation in threat response, criminal investigations, and high-pressure decision-making.
Beyond his law enforcement career, Ryan has worked extensively in private security, where he conducted covert and on-site investigations aimed at uncovering fraud and ensuring compliance with established protocols. His unique ability to identify risks before they escalate is a cornerstone of his approach to protection.
As Executive Director of Threat and Risk Management, Ryan leads Odin’s efforts in proactive security planning, advanced threat assessments, and real-time incident response. He’s also a certified personal trainer, bringing a physical readiness mindset that reinforces our team’s tactical performance and resilience.

Dustin Simpson
Crisis Readiness Program Lead
Dustin Simpson brings a rare combination of tactical expertise, spiritual leadership, and crisis intervention experience to Odin Defense Group. With 11 years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps and 14 years in federal law enforcement, Dustin has operated in high-stakes environments where sound judgment and mission readiness are paramount.
In addition to his extensive government service, Dustin has spent two years serving as a youth pastor, giving him a unique ability to connect with people in moments of vulnerability, stress, or crisis. His compassionate leadership and calm demeanor have made him a trusted voice in both the field and the community.
Today, Dustin leads our Crisis Readiness Program and also instructs Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for local law enforcement agencies. His training focuses on equipping officers with the skills to de-escalate volatile situations, recognize signs of mental health crises, and respond with clarity and compassion.
